During our workshop we will explore the history of the Witch, from Ancient Priestesses to Herbal Healers, Cunning Folk, right through to the Burning (Hanging) Times of the Witch Trials and to the demonisation of the Witch to her current archetypal form as the Wicked Witch of the West.

But this is not the end of Witchcraft...

From the ashes of the Witch Tirals we have risen again and through the groundbreaking work of Gerald Gardner, Ross Nicholas, Doreen Valiente and Dion Fortune and many others in the early part of the 20th centuary Witchcraft in its modern day form was revived.

During the second part of our workshop we will look into the practices of modern witchcraft, learning about the elements and the subtle magic that flows all around and within us. We will learn how to work in harmony with the powers of nature by using crystals, herbs and colours to bring magic into our lives. To end our workshop we will create a magical spell bundle that you can take home.
